& Visual Notetaking

A collection of 5 graphic recordings, the background is a light sky blue, the text is all in black. Each headline in the center of each image says "Graphic Medicine" and is surrounded by different stories and texts from different panelists and presenters that range from Multiple Personality Disorder, to book talks to the opening and closing of the New England Graphic Medicine event in October 2025. There are images of hands holding books, people standing around a camp fire together, a child with a blanket and portraits of the presenters also speckled throughout the pages. The main colors are Blue, pink, purple and gold. In the corner of each page there is an image of a skull with a pencil stuck through the cranium and sticking out the bottom of the jaw and the name A. There is a Torii gate in the center at the bottom. The image is designed to be read in a zig zag, left to right, then right to left as the view goes down the page. The sketch note has red cherry blossoms throughout the image, a picture of tourists and Japanese people are speckled throughout. The is a larger illustration of two people kissing on the left hand side, the colors in the image are different shades of bright red and purple. There is a monochrome pride flag featured as well. The Subtitles include What is a Love story, Self love, Writing Queerness, Found Family, Happy Endings, Age Groups and Putting yourself in it, which is accompanies with an image of a woman jumping down into a comic. The image is on a white background with dark and light violet used to color the image, with a few red highlights. Along the bottom of the image are purple flames with a scene of a pile of books burning.

The Graphic Recording has images of the two authors on the left and right, Meera Subramanian and Katy Doughty moderated by Barbara Moran, There are illustrations of their book titles under their names an images of 4 teenagers standing over a quote, an image of a burning earth, an earth with an umbrella over it and a network of hands holding each other together. Some of the Quotes and Subtitles include "It's roomy out here" Climate, Extinction & the environment, Drawing the Hard Science, and Community Building. The live sketch note also has the sponsors which are BCAF, Porter books, and Boston Figure Drawing.

With a yellow to blue gradient background, top to bottom, there is a banner in the middle with "Graphic Medicine, who, what, why & how" written inside. Around the hand drawn banner is a combination of hand drawn books, zines, booklets and 6 talking heads with the description of each presenter at the event.
